Remembering Lisa Bishop

Spooky-Nights.com is very proud to be raising funds for Help for Heroes. We feel very priviliged to have know Lisa Bishop who sadly passed away earlier this year, but before she passed she was very involved with Help for Heroes and had asked me personally to help her raise funds for them.

We have added a donate button to our website, so if you would like to donate any amount of money at all, then please donate it and we will see how much we can raise before we pass it onto the family of Lisa, who are also raising money for Help for Heroes.

Festival of Lights
We also aim to have a ‘Festival of Lights’, where you will be able to join us, and purchase your Chinese lantern and write your message to your loved ones and send it on its way, more details of this event will be posted on our website soon.

Help for Heroes are currently celebrating their 3rd birthday as we speak, so help us raise the profile a little bit more, and donate any amount of money you can.

Help for Heroes 3rd Anniversary

I am delighted to say that, as we celebrate our third anniversary, we have hit a fund raising landmark of £70m raised since we launched in 2007. People across the country have joined together to do their bit for the blokes and created what Prince William recently described as a phenomenon.

This vast sum has been raised by ordinary, decent people who simply want to ensure that those wounded in the service of our country get the very best care and support. Every penny of that £70m has already been spent or allocated to provide direct, practical support to those injured in the line of duty and we have a ‘wish list’ of at least a further £42m if we are to achieve all we want to do today; no doubt we will need more.
Thank you all for what you have done, every contribution is valued, big or small, and every donation is used to help our blokes. This truly is a phenomenon but it is needed and it must go on; the road to recovery is a long and very hard path. The blokes, the men and women of our Armed Forces, are young today but they will grow old. They are in the spotlight of public attention today but we must ensure that if that level of publicity fades, as it inevitably will, the support continues; they must not be forgotten. We owe those who serve the very best and H4H and all our supporters, will continue to do all we can to ensure they get it.

Thank you all for your superb efforts. Please keep going; our blokes need you.
Onwards and Upwards!

  1. We need your help to celebrate the life of someone very special who passed away earlier this year. We are raising funds for the Help the Heroes campaign which was Lisa's chosen charity. Please take time out to have a look at this site and donate whatever you can, however small, to this deserved cause.
